What is the device that charges an electric car called?

It is commonly called an EV charger. AC chargers supply alternating current that the vehicle converts through its onboard charger, while DC fast chargers deliver direct current straight to the battery through the vehicle's charging system.

What is the difference between AC and DC EV chargers?

AC chargers suit long-dwell parking such as hotels, offices, and apartments. DC fast chargers deliver higher power for public charging stations, travel corridors, and fleets that need to get back on the road quickly.

What power levels do Starvo EV chargers cover?

For electric cars, the Starvo range spans from the POLARIS 14 kW Type 2 AC up to the 800 kW POLARIS system. CCS2 DC options start at 30-40 kW and go up to 240 kW, while the liquid-cooled GB/T line is available at 400 kW and 480 kW.

Which connectors are available?
